It’s likely common knowledge that hot sauce and chicken wings go together like, well, hot sauce and chicken wings, but what about all the other foods out there? It’s possible to add a real kick to just about anything by pairing it with hot sauce. Don’t believe us? We’ll bet you haven’t even thought of some of these tasty concoctions, and the best part of all, the pairings are sure to set your taste buds on fire!

Breakfast is undoubtedly the most important meal of the day, so start off on the right foot by grabbing a bottle of hot sauce. It goes great with everything from eggs and pancakes to hash browns and oatmeal. If you can’t give up on syrup completely, add a dash or two of hot sauce to help balance out the sweetness. Pizza is a tried and true favorite too, but if you really want to take it up a notch, try adding some habanero to the mix. Sure garlic crust is a nice touch, but to truly bring out some of the flavor of all that cheese and dough, you’ll want a nice hot sauce blend. If you’re craving seafood you’ll want to take on some hot sauce too. A bold hot sauce can really bring out the natural flavors.

Asian dishes are also great with hot sauce, but look for something higher on the heat scale. That’s because the meal may dilute some of the flavor of hot sauce, so it’s the prime time to take it up a notch! For more traditionalists, there’s nothing wrong with good old mac and cheese either. Just find a hot sauce that you’re comfortable with and mix it in. Top off your meal with some Sriracha-infused fruit. It goes great on mangos and jalapenos work well with strawberries.
